I have come to the Cardinal many times and the staff and food has always been great. If you are going with a crowd that doesn't drink beer than this might not be the place for you. One of the best places to watch the Twins games.

This place is one of Minneapolis's best kept secrets. The food is ridiculously good. I loved the burgers and had so many that I decided to try something else after a while and found their Philly beef. Wow. The prices are very reasonable and it is very easy to get in and out. I live nearby so often order my food to go. If you figure that for near the same price as McDonalds you can have one of the best burgers around it is a no brainer. They just put up new tv's throughout so it is a great place to catch a game or play a few rounds of pool.

This place dose not look like much,but the food was great.I think with the lite rail there the place should do great.I had a burger it was cooked perfect and had great flavor.

This bar is exactly what you'd expect. It has a friendly bartender, good waitstaff, and fair prices for beer and food. The menu has no real surprises, other than that the food is pretty darn good. It's a great place to watch a game or get a burger with your dad.

The "Cardinal" is a south Minneapolis institution perfect for those looking for a neighborhood bar to call their own. With plenty of room, tons of games, and cheap eats the Cardinal Tavern is hard to beat.
