Yesterday was my first and last time as a client. I have Never had such a unprofessional experience at a hair salon. I requested a short hair cut from Mark and even showed him the length that I wanted my hair cut. I left the hair salon not having received the short hair cut. I went to another hair salon who had a opening and Paid Again for my hair to be cut this time leaving having received what I asked for. This is the first time in my life that I have been so unhappy with a hair cut that I have Paid Two times in one day for a hair cut!
I have read in The New York Times that some reviewers on sites are paid to place a positive review this and the friends of the stylist are the Only explanation that I can think of as to why a positive review is here.

I have been here twice now, and Mel cut my hair both times. I would go every time I need a cut, but I currently live in Oregon. She does good work, is awesome to chat with, and I'll be sure to be back the first chance I get!

Oh, good pricing too; but I'm a guy and haircuts pricing is usually pretty standard.

The decor is super relaxing. Nothing snobbish about this salon. The music was wonderful (iPOD mix). My stylist, Mel, took great care of me. She gave me the style & color I requested + threw in a deep conditioning treatment! That made up for the wait.
I would recommend this place to all of my friends & family. Mike, an owner at Evolution, has created a warm inviting environment for all to enjoy.
My hair cut is still fabulous and I will be a regular client!

I don't normally write reviews but after my experience at Evolution, I just had to. I am very picky with my hair and have been to places like Tres Jolie but I never was too happy with the haircuts anywhere... that is until Mark cut my hair! He listened to me but also had his own suggestions and the outcome was great! He did not rush with the haircut and paid special attention to the details that make a haircut perfect. I cannot tell you how happy I am with the service I received! Everyone else was also very friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend Evolution Experience!
