The Shaw burger is without doubt the best burger in town, the staff was great, music was great. You have to get to Northeast Minneapolis and experience this bar. When you first walk in the door it feels like you time warped back to your first apartment that you shared with a couple of buddies, your couch had duck tape where the vinyl had cracked and there are stains on the floor you don't know how they get there or at what point in time was the stain made. But don't let looks fool you this is a Fantastic Bar!

Very friendly neighborhood bar, Great food,and music,outdoor patio, family owned business for many years.Reccommend the Shaw burger, Mike Shaw also plays keyboards in house band.

The place is a dive but the food is wonderful. The Shaw burger topped with special sauce, bacon, swiss cheddar fried & raw onion tomato lettuce is a big gooey mess. Add there perfectly crisp fries and you are in dining heaven. Stay for the meat raffle or the friendly local banter. The Thursday night rib special is also very good.

Shaws is a small neighborhood bar with great burgers. ( they serve a burger called the sun burger taken from the old sun drive in from the 60s in northeast minneapolis.

Try the Shawburger....Be prepared to use tons of napkins! Yummy! Best Burger in Northeast...Top it off with a Captain Coke for a Very fair priced, comfortable meal! Can't be beat!
