Good food, fun, but not what I expected
Ichiban's is a fun habachi, but not as fun as I expected. If you're more low key, you'll probably like this place, but if you're expecting a more out-going chef, I'd go somewhere else. The chef I've had both times I've been here was not very out-going.
I'm used to habachi places that are very interactive with the guests.
The drinks are VERY expensive, in my opinion. I didn't have the steak, but others in my group said the steak tasted very cheap for the price you pay for it.
I would recommend it, but would say I'd try somewhere else first if you want a more interactive habachi experience.
